David joined Patriot over eight years ago in August of 2015. Prior to working at Patriot, David spent over 18 years in Operations at CSX working in several different field leadership roles—Road Foreman, Trainmaster, Asst. Superintendent, and Director—as well as a certified engineer and conductor. During his tenure at Patriot, he has served as AVP of Safety, Vice President of Safety, Training, and Regulatory, as well as his current position, Vice President of Operations, where he has responsibility for the performance of Patriot’s Transportation and Mechanical teams, as well as Patriot’s excursion operations across the country. David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, and a Masters in Transportation Logistics from the University of Denver.
