MISSISSIPPI CENTRAL RAILROAD CO.
The Mississippi Central Railroad operates three segments totaling approximately 115 miles of track in northern Mississippi: the “Red Bay” or “Redmont” branch runs from Corinth, Mississippi to Red Bay, Alabama; the “Oxford” branch spans Oxford, Mississippi to Grand Junction, Tennessee; and the “Iuka” branch is 11 miles from Iuka to the Tri-State Industrial Park.
All the line segments are located in northern Mississippi and are approximately 300 miles from the Port of Mobile, the only deep-water port in Alabama with direct access to 1,500 miles of inland and intercostal waterways.
