Leonard Dodrill

Mr. Dodrill joined Patriot in 2018 and currently serves as Chief Information Officer successfully working with internal/external customers by implementing secure, innovative and pragmatic technology solutions. Dodrill and his team provide technology support for over 35 freight transportation, scenic excursion and logistics facilities across North America. He is committed to the security, stability and productivity of the company while ensuring Patriot’s technology strategy is aligned with our corporate goals providing us a competitive edge within the industry. 

Prior to Patriot, Dodrill held several leadership positions with ISF, Inc. as Chief Information Officer/Client Partner, Project Manager and Technical Lead where he was responsible for the management of various information technology functions.

During his tenure with ISF, Dodrill completed over 180 successful software and infrastructure consulting engagements for state agencies, military departments and private clients. His primary focus was streamlining the emergency response processes for National Guard entities nationwide by implementing and marketing a custom-built emergency management and logistics system. Dodrill was also responsible for developing a successful line of business delivering application hosting and managed services for public health, epidemiological surveillance and emergency response applications. 

Dodrill brings over 28 years of experience across a wide spectrum of technologies. He is especially skilled in security, technology strategy, budget management, project management and process reengineering. He also has significant experience in delivering software development lifecycle (SDLC), data management and infrastructure-based solutions as well as technology team building and mentorship. 

Mr. Dodrill holds an active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and graduated from the University of Florida at Gainesville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer and Information Sciences with Honors.
