Scott Bannwart joined Patriot Rail in 2021 as the Vice President of Engineering. In this role, he is responsible for the maintenance of Patriot properties as well as supporting growth and capacity projects. Before joining Patriot Rail, Bannwart held engineering leadership roles at Florida East Coast Railway, Atlas Railroad Construction and Norfolk Southern. Bannwart has over 19 years of experience in track maintenance and construction, project planning and administration, and capital budgeting forecasting. A native of Kentucky, Bannwart has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He resides in Neptune Beach, Fla with his family.
