Susan McBroom joined Patriot Rail in 2015 and is currently the Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for overseeing and strategically managing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This position plays an important role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent acquisition and organizational development.
Susan’s career spans over 30 years of combined Human Resources and Railroad experience. She has held various HR roles in the areas of HRIS management, EEO compliance, Employee Relations and Benefits. Her rail career started in 1993 at CSX Intermodal and later continued at RailAmerica until they were acquired by Genessee & Wyoming. She spent a few years working as a SAP HR/Payroll consultant at HR FocalPoint before joining Patriot Rail.
Susan is a member of the ASLRRA HR Committee, League of Railway Women and on the Board of Directors at the Florida Alliance for Healthcare.
