Patriot Rail Appoints Harry Zander as Chief Revenue Officer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (October 6, 2021) – Patriot Rail Company LLC, a leading U.S. operator of shortline and regional freight railroads and rail services, announced the appointment of Harry Zander as Chief Revenue Officer.

Zander brings more than 30 years of knowledge and experience to the portfolio of leased assets. He is responsible for managing and coordinating Patriot Rail’s activities that generate revenue, identifying the most suitable markets and market segments, leading and guiding the organization’s commercial efforts, and steering mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Patriot Rail, Zander served as Senior VP of New Product Development at TrinityRail where he implemented and operationalized cross-functional research and development efforts. He has a long history of leadership roles within the industry, including establishing the market facing platform for ECN Capital Corp. prior to its acquisition by TrinityRail. He has also held various leadership positions with industry advocacy groups and is still active in the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers.
